#7 & #8: Slow Motion & Devotion by Dani Shapiro

Dani Shapiro is a novelist whose work I've enjoyed in the past, so I decided to try reading her memoir Slow Motion. Her latest book, also a memoir entitled Devotion is an exploration of her attempt to figure out her own complicated spirituality.  Both are thought-provoking and highly recommended.
